The Town presented Beautification Awards to:
- the Faust Family for their volunteer efforts in planting trees and landscaping at Town Hall Park
- Kingsway Church for their "We Love Avon" volunteer day where numerous improvements were made throughout Avon including the planting of trees at Town Hall Park
- Avon Gardens for their volunteer efforts in planting and maintaining the landscaping around the Town Hall Flag Pole, as well as the gardens at Avon Gardens
